Mortal Kombat, that's a memorable name and one of the most anticipated fighting games of 1992. Mortal Kombat also introduced the use of digitized actors and crisp graphics in the fighting game era. It also was the cause of the ESRB rating system. I remember playing this at my cousin's house for the Sega and it was no challenge at all. The fatalities were pretty descent and so were the characters. I remember kicking ass with Liu Kang and Sub-Zero in the arcade ladder. I must say Goro was the easiest opponent to play against, he was very slow and sucked. But my main struggle was against Shang Tsung. I also remember him spamming the skull ball move against me and he would win in just 5 seconds. This continued to piss me off until I defeated him in the fifth try... Overral, this was a great and memorable game to play. I would LOVE to spend my freetime and play this game. It made my day the first I got my hands on it.
